A french artist, from Nice, Fabienne Ardino has been passionate about painting ever since her childhood. While still very young, her uncle, a french/russian, himself an artist living on the Riviera, remarked on her natural talent and encouraged her to continue down this path. A this same time her grandmother,with Romanian origins was a dressmaker for Pablo Picasso. Being brought up in these surroundings and in such an artistic atmosphere made her naturally curious and at the age for 15 she inscribeb at villa Thiole ( art school in Nice ).
In the 1980's, she organised her first exposition in Vence, where she presented a series of oil pastel paintings, it was here that she met a dutch artist from Saint-Paul de Vence who helped her to discover and appreciate oil painting.
Much later, while travelling through Africa, she was completely overwhelmed by the beauty and the diverse colours of the landscape which entoured her.
On her return to France, she brought with her all the magic and nuances of Africa.
Since this magical and unforgettable voyage that . She holds deep in her heart, her palette is a shimmering explosion of colour, guided by a surge of emotion. Her paintings are the proof, of an extreme movement. The originality of her paintings are the witness of an intoxicating creativity. The paintings are marked with a grand sensibility ; An invitation to uncover an artist unique and mysterious. From the chromatic explosions, we understand that Fabienne Ardino is attracted by the sometimes puzzling and mysterious atmosphere of the universe and by the beauty of nature. The intangible seduces her. She is facined by what is strange, surreal, these theme's we find throughout her work : The Big bang, the cosmos, the breath of life, the planets, the imaginary nature... and FROM november 2006 : numbers ...
Fabienne has participed in numerous contests and exposes her work with other artist's from the art school in Nice, her exposisions include MAMAC : Ben, Sacha Sosno, Bernard Taride, Jean Mas, Nivèse, Frederic Altman, Boisgontier, Claude Gilli, Arman, César....
There is an imposed evidence to visitors of the gallery, where the forms and colours sucite a lasting pleasure for the eye. The artist's concept is to bring an eternal optimism, which brings us to her certitude : ART = MAGIC
